Have Fun at Sentosa

I have been in Singapore for 5 months and I think Singapore is a very beautiful country. There are many resorts here attracting a lot of visitors from other countries.

Sentosa which means calm and serene, is the most fascinating vacation island in Singapore.It covers an area of 390 hectares.There are various of entertainment facilities and leisure activities. Here you can enjoy a stretch of 3.2 kilometers of white sand beach which consists of three distinctive components: Tanjong Beach, Palawan Beach and Siloso Beach. And beach enthusiast here can enjoy all kinds of beach entertainment and sports facilities, or on leisurely drink at the beach bars.

This island can be reached by cable car, bus, taxi or car throughout the year. It is easy getting around the island. Take the complimentary bus, mini-train or monorail, or for the energetic, cycle or walk – it’s invigorating!

In Sentosa, natural scenery can be seen everywhere.There are a variety of wild animals such as peacocks, monkeys and squirrels and so on. It lets you approach the nature and escape from the busy lives. If you want to come closer to nature's creatures, the Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon are what you must visit!At here you can be closer to the lovely pink dolphins and other marine life.How wonderful!

Orchard road is one of the major tourism attractions in Singapore. It consists of shopping centres and entertainment.

At night time, Orchard road is fantastic. Different types of bars and nightclubs combined with the dancing brilliant neon lights, attracting the tourists sleepless at night. Couples who walk hands in hands can bring your partners to enjoy various films in the luxurious cinemas. Friends are in the KTV at which you can wave arms, burst into songs. During Christmas Day, Orchard road is decorated with neon lights. Each year has different themes. A variety of lights are here and there. Everyone is addicted into the‘ocean’ of happiness.

Of course, the point is shopping. There are 33 shopping centers on Orchard road. Different centers, different features. It is not an exaggeration to say that you can buy anything you want here. Center Point is one of the biggest and the most famous shopping centers in Singapore. It is a comprehensive shopping centre, and the store which wins the most awards Robinson Center here. There are many stores attracting you to visit. Classical music stores, the Middle East style carpets stores, European flavor works of art, some of the most fashionable clothe shops and other types stores. You will love it. Ngee Ann City also is a big shopping center. The purpose of most shopping travelers is Takshimya in city. Takshimaya was built by Japanese, so there are many Japanese goods here. I think Takshimya is very suitable for shopaholic because the world’s top brands are all here, for example LV, GUCCi, PRADA, BOSS and so on. Shopping is an exciting and crazy experience in Takshimya, you can feel the trend of information everywhere. You are on the top trend of the world.

Actually, Orchard road is a small collection of world cuisines. Top-grade, middle-grade and low-grade are available, they are up to you to choose. Just think about various delicious cuisines. Are you excited now and look forward to coming here?

East Coast Park

East Coast Park
East coast park is the biggest park in Singapore and has the longest coast line.It compiles with large area and the sea. The beach line is about fifty kilometers long. The park is a national garden attraction with about 7 million tourists coming here every year.
It is really an ideal place for leisure and recreation.

At the park, there are sufficient facilities to tourists who come to enjoy their leisure time. There are play grounds along the pathway .This is specially great for people who have kids. You can play volleyball on the beach. You can relax by cycling or walking along the footpath. It also has water sports like fishing, wind surfing, cable skiing,etc. After you finish swimming,you can also find out the park provides a lot of water amusement facilities.
East coast park has a lot of places for doing barbeque.You can enjoy grilling your barbeque outdoor but is not a disaster to go through the heat of barbeque contributed to the great number of trees which cover almost every part of this area. You can sit and read your favorite books under the shade of trees. There are also quite a lot of food and beverage outlets to serve you with good menus and reasonable prices. There are many choices of food among these outlets. What I especially recommend is that if you like seafood, you could have a try of the fresh sea food here.
For business people, you can bring you laptops along and enjoy working with a wonderful atmosphere of wind, sea and fresh air !Since the park has Wi-Fi service,it is very convenient to stay as long as you like even stay overnight.There are many chalets available to enjoy an amazing weekend,to relax yourselves.But remember you had better make an advance reservation.There are also several large car parks here.
Another great thing to do here is spending your night at your private tent.Imagine you get up at 4am and watch the gorgeous view of sunrise.It would be memorable and touching.

Jurong Bird Park

If you would like to see birds, and you have not a good chance to hear a lot of birds singing before, then you should spend your spare time coming to Singapore. Because there is a world’s leading Bird Park in the west of Singapore. It is called Jurong Bird Park.

Jurong Bird Park is one of the most interesting attractions in Singapore. You will not be disappointed when you come to visit here. It is a great time for people to see over hundreds of birds in one park. Many people might think that it is really impossible for them to approach this desire for being up closed with many birds that they have never seen in their lives. However, if you come to Jurong Bird Park in Singapore then you will know that it is really a world of birds. Because there are 600 species of birds and 800 birds that come from all over the world. Moreover, it is also the biggest Bird Park in Southeast Asia.

Jurong Bird Park was opened in January 1971, on the area of 220,000 meters square. Although it is very big and perhaps you would find yourself getting lazy walking. The park has a monorail train for you to go around the park. You can enjoy various shows .For example: hawks, eagles and falcons show. Apart from these shows, you can see also penguins which are not available in general places but you can see here. Besides the birds, you also can see African man-made water fall.

A lot of people come here for relaxing and experiencing the forest with the sound of birds. It seems we are traveling in the natural forest. If you would like to visit, you can come alone or come with friends as well as traveling in a group or family. Tories are provided for people who come with babies. Nice shops are set up for selling souvenirs which have pictures on. There are T-shirts, ceramics, mascots and other things.
Jurong Bird Park is located at 2 Jurong Hill, Singapore 628925. You can visit this place easily either by taxis or bus (No 194, 251) via Boon Lay bus interchange. Taking MRT to Boon Lay of the East-West line is also a good choice.
